OjeOje is the first Danish eyewear brand to design and produce all frames from min. 50% recycled PC. Instead of ending up as waste and filling up landfills, it is crushed and re-transformed into the unique and colorful OjeOje reading glasses and sunglasses, which you can mix, match and complete your look with – and create an extra eye-catching effect!

At OjeOje, we believe glasses are much more than just a necessity! Your glasses should highlight your eyes, your appearance, and your personal expression. When you try on a pair of glasses, the feeling of 'YES' should be palpable – and visible!

At OjeOje, we have a sharp eye for detail – and expertise in order. Our founder and creative director, Mette Wotkjær, as one of the founders behind the successful eyewear brand 'Have A Look,' has many years of experience in eyewear design. Since then, she hasn't been able to resist following eyewear fashion, especially solutions with an eye for the climate.
Eye-catching Danish design
OjeOje is your guarantee of high-quality Danish design. We are located north of Copenhagen, where there is life, delicious shops, and vibrant inspiration as far as the eye can see. We use this inspiration to design stylish glasses exclusively from recycled materials. We have extensive experience in fashion and interior design, ensuring you always get unique designer glasses for women as well as men.
We have an eye for the environment:
• All our glasses are recycled and carefully made from recycled plastic.
• All our glasses are 100% phthalate-free.
• Each pair of glasses comes with a cool recycled case.
• We reduce our CO2 footprint by using limited amounts of packaging and exclusively FSC-certified paper.
• We produce everything possible in Denmark. Our glasses are designed here in the country and then produced by our carefully selected GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified manufacturer in Taiwan.
• We say no to overproduction and only produce the glasses that are needed.
• We also design reading glasses from existing glasses, which have been assembled in a new, colorful, and sustainable way. The purpose of the design is to emphasize our focus on upcycling, as there is no reason to burden our planet by constantly producing new.
• Our upcycled fabric cases are hand-sewn by volunteer Soroptimists in Denmark from surplus fabric from the textile company Kvadrat. All proceeds from the sale of cases go to Soroptimist International's important work: improving the lives and status of women and girls.
• We support the Danish environmental organization Plastic Change, which fights for ambitious goals for the reduction and recycling of plastic.
• We donate reading glasses to refugee camps in Mizoram through CHO (Chin Health Organisation).
• We donate reading glasses to women in Burundi and Bangladesh through the slow fashion company Coffee Beanies and the interior design company Manelleh. We want to have an eye for raising the standard of living for women worldwide.
